Blackboard just had an update, and this means updating browsers. Below I will cover how to update the most commonly used browsers.
Google Chrome
1. Click the menu button for your browser. This looks like 3 vertical dots and is found in the upper right corner of the window.
2. Go down to the Help option on the menu bar. Once that menu is opened, click on About Google Chrome

3. If Chrome has an update, you will see the option to update next to where the version number is.

Microsoft Edge
1. On your Edge browser, open the menu by clicking the horizontal dots at the top right corner of the window.
2. Find the Help and feedback option, and click About Microsoft Edge.

3. If there is an update for your browser, you will find it under the version number. If there is no update, it will say the browser is up to date.

Safari on MacBook
1. Click on the Apple icon on the top left of the screen to open the menu. Then click on System Settings.

2. Click the General option at the left of the screen, and then Click Software Update.

3. From there, you will see a screen that either tells you to update your OS (and therefore your browser) or that everything is up to date. If you need to update your browser on a Mac, you will also need to update your OS, since they are tied together. If you are unable to update Safari, you can try downloading the latest version of Chrome for Mac.
