Connect the cables as the directions for the headset show.
Make sure the switch on the bottom of the headset base is set on "A"
If you have an older shortel phone:
Go into the phone options, select "auto off hook" and set it to "Wireless head set"
If you have a newer Mitel phone:
Go into the phone options, select "head set type", select the last option "ADP80"
